BiH Independence Day marked in Egypt and Australia

BiH Independence Day was marked in Egypt with the event that was organised by the Association of BiH Students in Egypt.

Ambassador of Turkey, diplomatic delegation of Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Kosovo and Egyptian diplomats, and also students from Montenegro, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Ecuador, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Nigeria attended the event.

At the beginning of the event, BiH anthem was played, and afterwards there was a video-presentation of BiH.

Those present also enjoyed the exhibition of books of BiH authors in Arabic, exhibition of photos by Mira Nezuk named ”Srebrenica”.

Naila Duraković prepared the pleasant surprise with traditional BiH cookies and cakes.

In Sydney, in organisation of BiH Cultural Association Leppington in cooperation with other BiH organisations has organised a solemn event on the occasion of BiH Independence Day with 200 guests, and BiH ambassador in Australia opened the event with a speech.

At the celebration, the overview of all the activities of the embassy was done, and president of school board of Bosnian Ethnic School in Sydney Maida Kulić Vugdalić thanked the ambassador on his activities.

The ambassador said that on 12 March, BiH Embassy in Australia will, in cooperation with Australian Parliament, mark the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between BiH and Australia.
