The Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, held a meeting with the director of the Directorate for Policy Coordination of the Directorate for Mobility and Transport of the EU, Mona Bjorklund, and requested that the European Commission support the initiative to exempt professional drivers from the EU regulation according to which citizens of third countries can reside in the Union 90 days in 180 days, such as exempt pilots and naval fleets.

At the meeting, the problem of unreasonably long negotiations on mutual recognition of driver’s licenses was pointed out, and Minister Forto cited the example of negotiations with Spain and Italy that have been going on for the last five and seven years, the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH announced.
