The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH has expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of Italian citizens in an EUFOR helicopter crash near Brčko, stating that it stands ready to provide support to those affected by the accident.

In a post on the social network X, the Ministry stated that its thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the deceased, as well as with those injured, to whom they wish a swift and full recovery.

“We stand with our Italian friends as they mourn those who served the cause of peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the Ministry stated.

They added that they are prepared to assist all those affected by the accident, in close coordination with EUFOR, the Embassy of Italy in BiH, and partners from the European Union.

The post also tagged the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani.
