shipment of 20 tons of humanitarian aid with a total value of around 91,000 BAM was sent on Wednesday to the people in Ukraine.

The shipment was organized by the Humanitarian – Charitable Organization “Bread of St. Anthony” of the Franciscan Province of Bosnia Srebrena.

Franciscan priests and parishioners in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the storage, loading and shipping of various help in the form of canned meat, ready-made food, coffee, hot drinks for adults and children, hygiene items and blankets. They also made a significant contribution with financial aid, the Catholic Press Agency (KTA) announced.

They state that the collection and sending of the shipment is the result of intensive agreements with the coordinator of the national Caritas-SPES in Lviv, Mira Milavec, as well as the daily reports of the Franciscans of the Capuchins of the Custody in Kyiv, headed by Fr Blažeja Šuška, to whom a part of this shipment will be forwarded to Dnieper and Kremenčkuk so that with the help of volunteers they can distribute it to the population threatened by the war and believers during these pre-Christmas holidays.
