BIT AlijansaThe training of 30 mentors from 6 leading IT companies in B&H was finished yesterday in Sarajevo.

AtlantBH, Authority Partners, DevLogic, Green River Media, PING and Zira are the founders of the BIT Alijansa Association which works intensively on strengthening the IT industry in B&H as well as on its connection with the global social community. BIT Alijansa provides support to the companies so they can find their place at the global IT market and represents the platform for ensuring a high quality cooperation between the IT companies in B&H. It also launches initiatives which educate talented young people for the professional work in the IT industry.

Besides every day work on the challenging IT projects, the employees of the members of the BIT Alijansa often have a role of formal or informal mentors while working with the young people and while adapting new employees. Therefore, the members of the BIT recognized a need for organizing a focused specialist education for the mentors, with numerous interactive exercices. This kind of an important training will enable the standardization of the mentorship process and ensure for the mentors to understand their role in the process and to use tools that will ensure a uniform approach and work with the employees of the IT companies.
