bugojnoIn April 2014 in Bugojno the 10th international symposium ‘’Metal and Non-Metal Materials-properties, and applications’’ will be held in Bugojno.

The agreement to hold the symposium was reached at a meeting attended by the Mayor of Bugojno Hasan Ajkunić, Dean of the Faculty for Metallurgy and Materials of the University of Zenica prof. dr. Sulejman Muhamedagić and vice-dean and Councilor in the Municipal Council of Bugojno doc. dr. Ilhan Bušatlić.

According to Bušatlić, around 60-70 eminent experts from BiH, former Yugoslav republics, the EU and other countries will attend the gathering.

On this occasion, an overview of the situation in the area of metal and non-metal industry in Bugojno and the surrounding region will be made.

“In this way, the University of Zenica will meet the obligation related to the organization of scientific meetings, and on the other hand, we wanted to hold the symposium outside of Zenica. Given that Bugojno has certain natural resources, we believed that this would be a good place to hold the symposium on the production and processing of metallic and non-metallic materials’’, said prof.dr. Muhamedagić.
