policemen VucicThe Higher Court in Belgrade yesterday ordered detention for up to 30 days to two members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Serbia, who are suspected of disclosing official secrets in connection with their activities on the 11th of July 2015 when Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic was attacked in Potocari near Srebrenica.

Detention is suggested for two persons whose initials are V.T. and M.D., as reported by Belgrade media.

The suspects were heard, and the decision on detention will be issued by a pre-trial judge of the High Court in Belgrade.

Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic, was attacked first verbally and then with stones at the Memorial Center in Srebrenica on the 11th of July 2015.

In statements for Al Jazeera Balkans, suspects stated on the 11th of October that as police officers, after the oral orders of the elders, they were sent on undercover mission in Potocari on the 11th of July 2015 without legitimacy and weapons.

According to the laws of BiH and BH entity of the RS, members of the security forces of the foreign state cannot carry out tasks in the territory of BiH without the permission of that state under any circumstances.
