On Tuesday’s collective funeral for the victims of the floods in the area of Jablanica, Catholic and Orthodox priests, among others, paid their respects to the victims.

As can be seen in the photos recorded by the photojournalist, there were several Franciscans at the funeral, as well as members of other religious orders of the Catholic Church. Priests of the Serbian Orthodox Church were also present.

A total of 26 people died in catastrophic floods and landslides. In addition to the 19 deaths in the Jablanica area, four people lost their lives in Konjic and three in Fojnica. Whole families disappeared.

The burial took place in the cemeteries in Donja Jablanica and the settlements of Djevor and Zlate.

The funeral prayer was led by the raisu-l-ulama of the Islamic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Husein ef. Kavazovic, Klix.ba writes.
