CEC: HR Schmidt had consulted with the Central Election Commission

At today’s session, the Central Election Commission expressed its gratitude to High Representative Christian Schmidt for making the decision on amendments to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Conclusions have been adopted that task the services in the Secretariat of the CEC of BiH to carry out certain activities until the Law on Amendments to the Election Law of BiH enters into force.

The President of the Central Election Commission, Suad Arnautovic, emphasized that High Representative Christian Schmidt had consulted with the Central Electoral Commission and that the solutions are very feasible and that the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has the capacity to implement them.

The Central Election Commission has appointed the director and deputy directors of the Main Counting Center for the implementation of the General Elections.

According to information from the CEC, the processing of applications for voting from abroad is nearing the end, and so far about 68,000 voters have met the requirements, Klix.ba writes.
