Ceferin says He is concerned about Security during the European Championship

The president of the European Football Association (UEFA), Aleksander Ceferin, said that he is concerned about security during the European Championship, which will be held in Germany this summer.

In an interview with the British “Telegraph”, Čeferin pointed out that the eventual placement of Ukraine or Israel through the March barrage would further complicate security threats during EURO 2024.

“In crazy times, where the geostrategic world has gone crazy, the biggest concern is security,” said Čeferin and emphasized that he has met with the German interior minister twice so far.

“The fear is not related to the stadiums. They will be safe and properly protected. However, the fans will be in the cities. However, let’s be optimistic, I think everything will be fine with the support of the German authorities. They are determined to help UEFA”.

The European Football Championship will be held from June 14 to July 14, 2024 in Germany.
