The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Dragan Covic today met Grand Mufti Husein ef. Kavazovic in the building of the Senate of the Islamic Community of BiH.

“I’m glad that I was at Grand Mufti Kavazovic’s and was able to personally congratulate Eid al-Fitr to both him and all Muslims Bosniaks in BiH, as well as to all other Muslims. Also, we spoke about how to near the relationship between the Bosniak and Croatian peoples and everyone in BiH,” Covic said after meeting the Grand Mufti in his office.

Covic had earlier wished to the Grand Mufti and all Muslims for all Muslims to spend Eid peacefully and prosperity.

“That most important Muslim holiday should inspire us to, in the hope of a better and happier life, build and strengthen mutual trust, toleration, understanding and respecting others,” Covic said in the Eid wishes.
