The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Denis Zvizdic continued today’s meetings with parliamentarians to discuss the proposal of excise taxes.

In a conversation with Jasmin Emric, a representative of the Party of Democratic Activities (A-SDA) in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Zvizdic said that the law is important for all citizens of BiH, provided that it contains an increased level of transparency on the collected funds and their clearly defined purpose.

He pointed out that excise taxes were initiated for the construction of roads and highways and concluded that they were a prerequisite for launching new investment cycles in BiH. The meeting was also attended by the president of the A-SDA, Nermin Ogresevic.

Zvizdic will continue talks with all the stakeholders that are important in the process of adopting this extremely important law in the following period.
