The establishment of the first Chinese Association for the promotion of B&H-Chinese peace and unity took place in Brčko on Tuesday. It will serve as a new link connecting the two countries and to promote peace and development. The Ambassador of China to B&H Dong Chunfeng and leaders of government and of the B&H Brčko District Assembly attended the event.
According to official data, 280 citizens of China live and work in Brčko, and around 800 in all of B&H. They formed this association in order find jobs more easily, and they succeeded in this with the support of their Embassy and the EU.
Dong Chunfeng expressed his intentions in support of economic development and easier and more efficient employment in B&H in close cooperation with local authorities where they live and work.
