VIJE?NICA VE? POKAZUJE LJEPOTU SVOJE UNUTRA¦NJOSTIThe City Hall has become an inevitable location to visit by the tourists when they visit Sarajevo, a master piece from Austro-Hungarian period built in pseudo-Maori style with a long history and beauty that leaves everyone who enters it breathless.

Intensity of colors and mosaic on the walls, and central stone staircase is the reason why many tourists call it the most beautiful building in the Balkans.

Tarik Dautović from the Sarajevo City Administration and one of the guides in the City Hall told FENA that they are pleased with tourist visit, which is decreasing these days given that tourist season is ending.

”However, groups of tourists are still coming to the City Hall, especially students of elementary and secondary schools from area of Sarajevo Canton, and other cantons. I must remind that after the opening of the City Hall we organized an Open Door Day free of charge, up to 4.000 citizens visited the City Hall,” he emphasized.

He said that tourists are truly fascinated with what they see.

“They are especially interested in the architecture and drawings, because everything truly looks fascinating,” he said.

Tickets were introduced on August 17, which cost 2 KM, whereas the entry is free of change for children under 15. Visitation hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on every working day and at the weekends.
