CoM appoints New Director of Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH

The BiH Council of Ministers unanimously adopted decisions on the appointment of Almir Džuvo as Director and Risto Zarić as Deputy Director of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSA BiH) for a mandate period of four years starting from February 28.

They also appointed Damir Bevanda as Chief Inspector of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSA BiH).

Previously, Osman Mehmedagić and Trifko Buha were dismissed from the positions of Director of OSA BiH and Deputy Director due to the expiration of their mandates on February 27, 2023.

The session of the BiH Council of Ministers was preceded today by the second session of the Executive Intelligence Committee, which was attended by the Chair of the BiH Council of Ministers, Borjana Krišto, and the Deputy Chairs, the Minister of Finance and Treasury, Zoran Tegeltija, and the Minister of Defense, Zukan Helez, the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
