COM EUFOR Visits Gacko and Bileca

Commander EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, conducted an official visit to Gacko and Bileća, where he met with representatives of the local authorities as part of EUFOR’s continued engagement with communities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In Gacko, COM EUFOR met with the Mayor, Mr Vukota Govedarica. During the meeting, they discussed the local situation and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest. COM EUFOR subsequently travelled to Bileća, where he met with the Mayor, Mr Miodrag Parežanin. The meeting provided an opportunity for constructive dialogue and an exchange of perspectives on the local environment.

These engagements form part of EUFOR’s regular interaction with local authorities and communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, supporting situational awareness and maintaining open channels of communication.

EUFOR remains committed to engaging with stakeholders throughout the country in support of its mandate to assist the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
