Company Vebo from Germany to invest in Derventa

company veboYesterday in Derventa was signed the contract for the sale of 13,000 square meters of land of the local community to the company “Vebo” from Germany, which is planning to build objects in which will be performed a construction and manufacturing of tools.

The contract was signed by the Mayor of Derventa Milorad Simic and manager in “Vebo” Aksel Viting, the company whose main activity is the manufacturing and construction of special tools for making lamellas for automatic transmissions in the auto-industry.

“We have 100 employees in Germany and 30 employees worldwide. We are planning the construction of administration building, where the construction of tools would be continued. Later is also planned the construction of the hall and production of tools,” stated Viting.

Simic said that waiting definitely paid off and that the talks with representatives of German company lasted for about a year and a half.

“This is a job for the RS and BiH, for progress. Part of the production will take place in Derventa, and 20 to 25 mechanical engineers will get employment there. With the signing of this contract, we introduced them in the realization of the plan, and the company is already successfully working in BiH and the Balkans,” said Simic.

He thanked everyone who helped in the realization of the project, as well as councilors of the local community, who have supported the decision on selling 13,000 square meters of land.

The director of company “Vebo Bosnia” Derventa, Dragan Babic, said that they need to employ 30 mechanical engineers, who would be dealing with construction tools.

In the temporary premises in Derventa is now employed a total of eight mechanical engineers.

The company “Veto” was founded in 2008 in Germany and it has production facilities in the US, Korea, Japan and Asia. The main office for BiH is located in Derventa.
