’Conference for Babies’ Held in Srebrenica

srebrenica-gradThe fifth in a row ‘Conference for Babies’ was held in Srebrenica’s cultural center last night. The aim of this conference was to affirm and strengthen the true value of families. This year, a slight increase in the birth of babies in Srebrenica was marked.

“We will continue to hold this event in the next years and every year shows that there is an increase in the birth of babies in Srebrenica. I think that next year this event will be far more attractive’’, said the Advisor to the Head of Social Affairs and Public Service of Srebrenica Cvijetin Maksimović to Fena.

Since June of last year, 30 babies were born. The oldest baby is Džejna Bektić who was born on 7 June 2012, and the youngest baby is Grujčić Lazar who was born on 27 June 2013.

The babies were given nice gifts. The sponsors of this manifestation were: Ministry for Family and Youth of the RS, municipality Srebrenica and Violeta d.o.o. and the children’s nursery Poletarac.
