Zoran Tegeltija, whose appointment as chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Council of Ministers was confirmed on Thursday in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, announced that he will begin consultations with the future constituent coalition parties on future ministers.

The consultation started on Friday and will be resumed on Monday, December 9th.

He expressed the expectation that the ministerial appointment process would be completed by the end of this month.

“As far as I am informed, there are two indicative dates for the work of Parliament by the end of this year, which are December 18th and 23rd. As far as I’m concerned, I’ll be ready for any of these sessions,” Tegeltija said.

Tegeltija expressed the expectation that he would carry out the necessary consultations by mid-next week.

“And I expect the parties to submit the candidates’ proposals, because it takes some time to complete all the checks,” Tegeltija said.

He estimated that the names of candidates for ministers and deputy ministers were already more or less known within political parties.

Fahrudin Radoncic, leader of the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB), will nevertheless accept the position of Security Minister in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Council of Ministers, Patria News Agency learned.

Although information has emerged in recent days that instead of the SBB leader, the Minister of Security should become Ismir Jusko, according to Patria, this will not happen.

The post of Security Minister is one of the last for which a candidate in the new BiH Council of Ministers was not specified.
