Covic comments after Critiques he received for attending Day of Republika Srpska

President of HDZ party, Dragan Covic commented on Twitter after numerous critiques he received for attending the Republika Srpska Day on January 9thin Banja Luka.

“Only with unconditional mutual recognition, and respect, we can improve relations in our country, and in the interest of the common future of the EU and the prosperity of all constituent peoples. We should stop the malicious and harmful propaganda, media and disinformation. Lets build our relations on the basis of principles of constitutionality and legitimate democratic representation! Stop the hatred!” Covic wrote on Twitter.

On the day January 9, 1992 in Sarajevo, the then Assembly of the Serbian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina issued the Declaration of the proclamation of Republika Srpska. The republic has been proclaimed on the territories of Serbian autonomous regions and areas and other Serbian ethnic structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the areas where Serbs were constituting a minority.
