Konjic craftsFamous company Zanat from Konjic, which represents the centuries-old tradition of woodcarving in the modern way, is about to achieve another great success.

They are collaborating with the famous British designer Ilse Crawford and her studio Studioilse. Ilse Crawford is considered as one of the most influential people in the world of design.

Studioilse designed for Zanat a set of hand-carved benches made in wood and cast bronze and carved set of trays.

Ilse Crawford was recently awarded at the fair Maison&Objet in Paris with the award “Designer of the Year”.

The fair Maison&Objet will be held from the 2nd to 6th of September in Paris, and Studioilse will design a space for meetings and relaxation called “Designer’s Studio” within the fair. New collection of products that Zanat developed in cooperation with Studioilse will be presented in this space, where Zanat will also have its own stand.

This is the first time that a company from BiH appears as an exhibitor at this fair.

Photos of new products of Zanat from Konjic will be published soon.

In the meantime, prestigious design magazine Dezeen wrote about this successful family company, which presented BiH in a very positive light.
