Crnadak asks Dodik to immediately withdraw the Congratulations he sent to Lukashenko

Igor Crnadak, the current member of parliament of Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) in National Assembly of Republika Srpska (in Bosnian: NSRS), and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), asked Milorad Dodik, the member of Presidency of BiH and president of Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (in Bosnian: SNSD) to immediately withdraw the congratulations he sent to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Klix.ba news portal reports.

Crnadak says that he is asking Dodik for this after the confirmation of the High Representative of the European Union (EU) Josep Borrell that the EU will not accept the results of the elections in Belarus.

“He should do so for the concern of the RS, for the future of our children, who should learn from an early age that abuse, repression of their people, and the purging and arresting the opposition are completely unacceptable. RS must strive for Europe, democratic achievements and Western value system, a system in which elections must be free and in which no one is allowed to threaten or blackmail citizens,” Crnadak noted.

In Friday night’s tweet, Borrell stated that the EU does not recognize the election results, and that will immediately work on imposing sanctions on officials of Belarus for attacking protesters.
