Day of Intercultural Dialogue

dijalog2609Day of Intercultural Dialogue in Sarajevo will be held today, from 10 to 11:30 am in front of the Cathedral, where participants of the project InterCOOL through public performances will mark this date for the sixth year in a row. 28 AFS organizations across Europe celebrate this day in order to raise awareness of the diversity of cultures as wealth.

Besides the performance in front of the cathedral to mark the Day of intercultural dialogue, participants will be involved in workshops on the theme of active citizenship, and they will visit the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to become more familiar with its work and activities.

InterCOOL project aims to promote intercultural learning, the development of tolerance and cooperation among young people of different profiles, nationality, ethnicity and religion, supporting the development of new skills, active citizenship and volunteerism.
