In the Historical Museum, a documentary exhibition entitled “Women antifascist Zagreb” was opened on Saturday in BiH’s capital Sarajevo.

Authors Barbara Blasin and Ane Lovrekovic pointed out that this exhibition shows the inter-war period of the Second World War from the anti-fascist and feminist discourse. The exhibition has been exhibited in Croatia, namely cities of Zagreb, Rijeka, Split and Dubrovnik.

“In the wake of the growing historical revisionism connected primarily with the legacy of anti-fascism and the importance of the national liberation struggle on the territory of the former Yugoslavia, as well as the insufficiently researched and valued role of women in the construction of the socialist society, researchers from Zagreb, Sarajevo, Novi Sad and Belgrade gathered to analyze and reinterpreted the period before these important historical events “, is stated at the exhibition.

The exhibition will be opened until October 23rd, 2018.
