Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik said yesterday evening that the United States is big, but it is a “big lie” and that the latest introduction of American sanctions is a direct interference in the internal affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska.
“America openly supports Muslims, which was best shown by this decision announced to us earlier in the day by their minister, who obviously influenced the opposition, primarily the PDP and part of the SDS, in choosing how to sanction someone here,” Dodik said after the session of the SNSD Executive Committee.
Dodik expressed his belief that the Americans “care that the Republika Srpska is a stable and self-sustaining community, and they do not care that there is no government in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that Croats do not have a legally elected representative.”
“This is not a reflection of strength. I have no property in the United States and this is a pure farce to be banned from property I do not have, I have never had anything in America, I have never had an account in America, nor have I done any business there, and I would not, even if they lift my sanctions, “said Dodik.
“The moment the United States imposes sanctions on Republika Srpska, it has made a decision on the independence of Republika Srpska,” he said.
