Dodik: Escobar supported the High Representative, we have no Plan for Secession

Republika Srpska has no plan for secession, but secession is only being imposed, said member of Presidency od Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik at a press conference in East Sarajevo.

Namely, Dodik spoke about the topics of talks with the State Department’s envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, and added that the issue of secession was also discussed, as well as the stabilization of the situation and the destabilization of institutions:

“BiH has been living in conditions of non-rights for a long time and the last imposition of the High Representative’s law is a non-legal decision and is not in accordance with Annex 10, Escobar agreed and said it was a political decision,” Dodik said.

He reiterated that he does not recognize the High Representative:

“Escobar supported the alleged high representative. It is a situation in which it is not worth talking about “, said Dodik and added that in that case, the level of force is acted upon.

As for secession, Dodik said there was no plan:

“We are talking about secession as a solution that will impose itself, bearing in mind that nothing can be agreed in BiH. We have no plan and no one has made a plan to move towards that. We are moving towards the Dayton provisions and the international agreement, and our announcement that we will withdraw our consent from the agreement on the army, indirect taxes and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council is a return to the original Dayton, and not the territorial reorganization of BiH as some want to show,” Dodik said.

He reiterated that BiH is dysfunctional, unsuccessful, regardless of the efforts of America and Europe, which, as he said, we have “listened to for the last 20 years”, BHRT writes.
