The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic, and President of SDA party Bakir Izetbegovic will give up two-thirds of their net salary, which will be paid to charity during the emergency caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Klix.ba news portal reports.

Dzaferovic will request the Presidency Finance Sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina to pay two thirds of its net salary, starting in March 2020, to the Muslim charity Merhamet for the needs soup kitchens in Republika Srpska entity.

“It is the least that can be done to show solidarity with the people who will suffer the most from the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
