The Egyptian Air Force, in cooperation with Jordan, has carried out several operations of airdropping humanitarian and emergency relief assistance in the badly affected residential areas northern Gaza Strip.

The move comes in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to boost all regional and international efforts aiming at providing the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip with needed humanitarian assistance.

This comes as a number of military transport aircraft took off from El Arish International Airport as a part of the Egyptian-UAE airlift to carry out airdrops of large quantities of food supplies and emergency relief assistance northern the Gaza Strip.

The move falls within the framework of the effective Egyptian role towards boosting all regional and international efforts meant to provide humanitarian needs and relief supplies for Palestinians in the war-ravaged enclave.

At least 85 Palestinians have been killed and 130 wounded in Israeli attacks in the blockaded Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that Israeli forces carried out eight massacres in the past day.

“Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads because rescuers cannot reach them,” the statement said.

Emphasizing that at least 25 people died as a result of malnutrition in the Gaza Strip, the Ministry announced that 72 percent of the victims of Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip are children and women.

At least 31,045 Palestinians have been killed and 72,654 wounded in the Gaza Strip since Israeli attacks began on October 7.
