Employment of BiH Citizens in Qatar officially regulated?

13552741_1790528364517173_1188248273_nAt the Office of the Director of European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar in Doha, Ambassador of BiH in the State of Qatar Tarik Sadovic exchanged instruments of ratification of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the State of Qatar on regulation of employment of BH citizens in Qatar with the Director of European Affairs of the MFA of Qatar, Rashid H. Al-Mansouri.

By the act of exchange of instruments of ratification, the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of Qatar on regulation of employment of BiH citizens in the State of Qatar, which was signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries in Doha on the 6th of April 2014, came into force.

This agreement regulates the area of employment of BiH workers in Qatar in accordance with relevant laws, procedures and individual contracts of employment.

The Ministry of Labor of Qatar will provide the requirements of employers from Qatar for engagement of workers from BiH to the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH, and the workers will conclude individual contracts with the employer in accordance with the form of the contract attached to the Agreement.

Terms and conditions of employment as well as mutual duties and obligations are regulated with this agreement.

The Labour and Employment Agency of BiH and the Ministry of Labor of Qatar will undertake all necessary procedures for the implementation of the Agreement and the competent authority of the Ministry of Labour of Qatar will supervise its implementation, as announced from the Office of Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
