Donation IMP faktor.baThe Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina received yesterday a donation by the International Red Cross Committee (MCKC) in the form of a new server with following IT equipment.

The donated equipment will significantly improve the management of Central Register of Missing Persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEN), given that the capacity of the current server is not sufficient for storing and regularly updating all electronic data on missing persons, the IMP of B&H stated.

The ceremony of donating the equipment was attended by the members of the Board of Directors of the IMP B&H, as well as the representatives of the delegation of the International Red Cross Committee in Sarajevo.

“Today’s donation is a sign of permanent support provided by the MCKC and which we greatly appreciate,” said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute Marko Jurišić.

“MCKC will continue monitoring and supporting the process of searching for missing persons. We invite all relevant institutions to increase efforts and contribute to the resolution of this important issue,” added the Head of MCKC Delegation in Sarajevo Željko Filipović.

Total value of donated equipment and operational system amounts to around 15,000 BAM.
