[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Around a thousand of Roma supporters enthusiastically followed the arrival of Edin Dzeko in Rome yesterday.

They recorded songs for him, waited for him at the airport for hours, brought him scarves..

Take a look at the photogallery to see what did the madness at the Roman airport look like yesterday.

The arrival of Edin Dzeko and the transfer worth 23 million Euros were covered by numerous world media. The Daily Mail explained what led to his transition from the Manchester City, analysing Dzeko’s (non)performances during the past months and years, similar as the Guardian.

The Telegraph stated that, despite 72 goals in 187 appearances for the City, Pelegrini is ready to give Dzeko to Roma.

The Manchestereveningnews covered Edin’s arrival, adding that a complete medical examination awaits him today.

The Footballitalia welcomed Dzeko at the airport, claiming that due to security reasons, the police moved his arrival from the Terminal one on the Terminal five, as the number of fans was increasing uncontrollably.

„The ace of Manchester City brought the fans to delirium“, reported Forzaitalianfootball today.

The Gazzetta also followed Dzeko, from the arrival at the airport, signing the autographs, conversations with fans and numerous selfies, to going to dinner with Miralem Pjanic.
