Expedition of Mountaineer club ”Samit” from Banjaluka climbed the summit of the Kilimanjaro Mountain, which is 5 895 metres high, as well as on the Mount Mary in Tanzania (4 566 metres).

Miroslav Bundalo and Miroslav Trivić from Banjaluka and Ivo Lubina from Odžak were the member of expedition.

Bundalo said to SRNA that the climb lasted for six days and it went on a 70 kilometre route.
Bundalo added that this feat is a preparation for a climb to the highest peak of North America – the McKinley Mount (Denali) which is 6 194 meters high. The climb is planned in June 2013.

Their expedition is a part of project ”Seven peaks” whose aim is to climb the highest peaks of all seven continents.  In June 2012, they climbed the Mount Elbrus.
