The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at an extraordinary session scheduled for today, is expected to consider draft laws on the protection of personal data and on border control.
The session of the Council of Ministers of BiH was scheduled to be held on Thursday, but was postponed after ministers from the Serb people announced that they would not attend due to the arrival of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Sarajevo.
According to the previously announced agenda, the Council of Ministers will consider the proposal for the Public Investment Program/Development and Investment Program of the Institutions of BiH 2025-2027 and the proposal for the Medium-Term Debt Management Strategy of BiH 2023-2026.
These items will be considered at the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
Also on the agenda is the proposal for a decision on the adoption of the Mine Action Strategy of BiH, a revised document for the period 2025-2027, proposed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
The report on the negotiation process for concluding a collective agreement for employees in BiH institutions and the proposal for a collective agreement for employees in these institutions, proposed by the Ministry of Justice, will also be considered.
The Ministry of Security submitted a proposal for a decision on the formation of an inter-agency working group to continue coordinating activities for the implementation of the passenger data exchange system and a proposal for a decision on the obligation to provide biometric data of foreigners.
This ministry also submitted a proposal for a decision on the allocation of funds for marking October 18 – European Day for the Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings.
The ministers will also have before them a proposal for a decision on the appointment of a BiH representative to the Interstate Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers and the Slovenian Government on the Employment of BiH Citizens in Slovenia.
The proposal for a decision on approving a multi-year project to co-finance demining costs in BiH for the period 2025-2027 will also be considered.
The Ministry of Finance and Treasury submitted information on the distribution and use of current reserve funds and information on the progress report on BiH for 2022 achieved within the framework of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation 2023-2026.
