Farewell Visit of Ambassador Casey to the B&H Presidency

KOMŠIÆ PRIMIO CASEYA U OPROŠTAJNU POSJETUChairman of the B&H Presidency Željko Komšić and member of B&H Presidency Bakir Izetbegović received today, in separate farewell meetings the Ambassador of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to B&H Nigel Casey.

During the meeting with Chairman Komšić, Ambassador Casey expressed his regret for the current situation in our country and the obvious stopping of all the processes concerning NATO and EU, but he stated that his country will continue to support B&H, especially in the processes of enabling the European integration of B&H. It is noted that the two countries have more than friendly relations and the desire to deepen these relations in all fields was expressed.

Chairman Komšić expressed his gratitude for everything that Great Britain has done for B&H and its citizens and thanked  Ambassador Casey for the active engagement during his mandate in our country and wished him success in his future work, announced the B&H Presidency.

IZETBEGOVIÆ PRIMIO CASEYA U OPROŠTAJNU POSJETUB&H Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović thanked Ambassador Casey for his commitment and great support to B&H. The interlocutors stated that mutual cooperation during the mandate was very good and there was open communication and great mutual understanding. Also, member of B&H Presidency Izetbegović congratulated Ambassador Casey for his position as Foreign Policy Adviser to the cabinet of Prime Minister David Cameron and wished him success in carrying out his new obligations, announced the B&H Presidency.
