The Government of the Federation of BiH, on the initiative of Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, accepted the Information on the request of the Congregational Church in Sarajevo for financial assistance in the amount of 30,000 marks for the repair of the roof structure, roof covering and the cross on the bell tower of the church.
The petition stated that at the beginning of November, due to strong winds, the roof structure, roof covering and the cross on the bell tower of the Cathedral were damaged, and that due to the coming winter and expected rainfall, it is necessary to proceed with the restoration as soon as possible in order to prevent further deterioration of the Cathedral.
In its conclusion, the government tasked the competent professional service and the Federal Ministry of Finance to prepare the necessary acts for the next session to allocate 30,000 BAM from the current reserve of the Government of the Federation of the FBiH budget for 2023.
