MAPCroatian Media Services delivers statistical information about how to look at the ethnic structure of the population in case of establishment of two entities in the current space of the FBiH that would consist of municipalities with a Croatian or Bosniak majority.

The majority Croatian entity that would include municipalities with Croatian majority in the FBiH, would have a total of 496,385 citizens. Of these 372,276 Croats, 111,821 Bosniaks and 9, 200 Serbs.

If, however, the majority Croatian entity would include three majority Serbian municipalities in Herzeg Bosna County, the population would exceed half a million.

Specifically, in the federal unit with Croatian majority would live a total of 509,730 citizens. Of these, 374,127 Croats or about 74.4 %, or 75.2 % of a total Croatian population in the FBiH, 113,089, or about 21, 8 % Bosniaks, or 7.2 % of the total number of Bosniaks in the FBiH and 19,327 or about 3.8 percent of Serbs or 34.5 % of the total number of Serbs in FBiH.

From these data, we can conclude that the federal entity with a Croatian majority, the ethnic structure of the population, according to multi-ethnic in about equal measure as it is in the FBiH, where Bosniaks dominate. In the FBiH, namely, live a total of 2,219,220 citizens, of whom 1,562,372, or 70.4 % Bosniaks, 497,883 or 22.4 % Croats and 3.6 % Serbs.

By forming the majority Croatian federal unit, majority Bosniak entity would be established immediately with 1,709,490 citizens, of which 1,548,511 Bosniaks, 123,756 Croats, and 37,223 Serbs, meaning that Bosniaks would make up more than 90 % of the population, the share of the Croats would amount to 7.2 %, while there would be a little more than 2 % of Serbs.

From this can be seen that the majority Bosniak entity would be nationally most homogeneous in BiH.
