Female basketball representation of B&H achieved the fifth victory at the European Championship B-Division for female players up to 20 years old in Sofia.
Young B&H female basketball players in the seventh round defeated the Bulgarian team with 85:54 (15:10, 28:12, 25:12, 17:20).
The most efficient players of B&H representation were Marica Gajić, who once again made a “double double” performance of 22 points and 12 rebounds. Nikolina Džebo and Nikolina Babić achieved 16 points each.
B&H team with this victory took the third place in the list after Germany and Hungary.
There are two more rounds left until the end of the competition. B&H team will play today with Germany and on Sunday against Portugal. In case of winning in both matches, they would keep the third position in the list and qualify in A-division.
