First day of the Islamic holiday Eid al-Adha is Monday, September 12, stated the Directorate for Religious Affairs of the Riyasat of Islamic Community in BiH.
Eid prayer will be held 45 minutes after the sun rises.
Eid al-Adha is one of the two most important Islamic holidays, when Muslims bring a sacrifice to the Almighty Allah. Apart from the spiritual significance, Eid al-Adha also has a social character.
