FM Turkovic: There is a growing Awareness around the World about a security Challenge and Threat in BiH

”It is absolutely justified and understandable that the United States (U.S.) and the international community recognize the seriousness of events in the smaller entity that incite hatred and fear, especially among returnees, and ask the authorities to do their job, ” said the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Foreign Minister Bisera Turkovic.

“There is a growing awareness among our partners and friends around the world that there is a security challenge and threat in BiH and that things should be treated in this way first,” Turkovic explained.

She emphasized that the political challenges, reforms, and obligations ahead of us should be resolved through dialogue within the institutions, but there can be no negotiations when it comes to security, territorial integrity and sovereignty, respect for the law and court rulings.
