FUCZ delivered Food and Hygiene Packages for Elderly Residents trapped in Villages

The Federal Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) visited endangered and elderly people who are trapped villages in Livno and Bosanski Grahovo, and delivered them food and hygiene packages.

Previously, workers of the Civil Protection Directorate of Canton 10 tried to reach the families in the Kruzi settlement below the Cincar Mountain to hand them food, hygiene supplies, boots and coats but had to return due to snow and ice.

Food and hygiene supplies have been handled by FUCZ members to the socially disadvantaged and elderly people in Donji Kazanci and Crni Lug in the municipality of Bosansko Grahovo and in the village of Sajkovići and Radanovci.

The help was delivered to inaccessible villages, so off-road vehicles had to be used, and in the past years FUCZ has provided assistance to the vulnerable population in this area during the winter.

Since they could not manage today, the FUCZ team will try to break through snowdrifts on the plateau below the Cincar Mountain tomorrow afternoon, News Agency Partia reports.
