GDI Supports the Flooded Areas with Timely Information

Balkan-Flooding-Swipe-Map-2-400-pxGDI specializes in providing a specialized and efficient technological solutions, all in order to make the technology practically useful for industry, public services and society. Through its regional offices in Zagreb, Sarajevo and Belgrade and in cooperation with partner Esri , GDI was immediately activated in assisting endangered areas through publication on the web sites. The publications, among other things, include satellite images of flood- affected areas in the region.

There are several options on the website, but the satellite images of flooded areas and a map of flooded areas are currently used the most.

They can be seen on the following link:

Namely, by clicking on the picture link it activates a web service with data and satellite imagery of flooded areas in Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Option number one relates to the Map of flood-affected areas (the area is periodically updated according to the recordings and field)

And option number two relates on the folder of photographs of the villages affected by floods (area is periodically updated according to the recordings and field).
