During the meeting the spoke about the bilateral relations between the two countries, joint projects that the Embassy of the Czech Republic is implementing in our country and the planned bilateral consultations at the level of the deputy ministers.

Trišić-Babić expressed her satisfaction for the good bilateral relations between the two countries, and thanked the Czech Republic for their help, especially in the process of Euro Atlantic integration.

Szunyog reiterated the commitment of the Czech Republic to support BiH towards its Euro Atlantic path and said that the Czech Republic seeks to express its support, apart from the political level, through concrete development projects.

He informed Trišić-Babić on the current development projects that the Czech Republic is implementing in BiH, with a focus on strengthening administrative capacity, harmonization of legislation with European standards, agricultural development and protection of the environment.

The Czech Republic seeks to develop intensive cultural cooperation, and among other things is involved in the organization of a film festival in BiH together with all other countries of the Višegrad group.

This country also aims to regularly provide funds for development assistance in BiH, and attempts to find local partners in BiH for its realization.

Trišić-Babić emphasized that she is pleased with the support and scope of the projects that the Czech Republic is implementing in BiH and emphasized the need to focus on projects in the area of education.

The Czech education model represents one of the most successful ones in the EU, and there is a need to share this experience with BiH because education is crucial for the modernization and development of BiH.
