Graduate of the Elementary School “Hamdija Kresevljakovic” in Kakanj decided to donate her money for prom dress to children suffering from cancer, and she came to her prom party in the T-shirt with the inscription “I gave money to children dealing with cancer because it is okay to go to the prom without a dress”.

With this great gesture, she showed that humanity still exists as well as people who nurture real values, and she joined the few graduates who gave their money intended for prom dresses and suits to those who need it the most.

“This is Lejan, a graduate of the Elementary School “Hamdija Kresevljakovic” in Kakanj. Like every parent whose child is graduating this year, her parents gave her money to buy a dress of her choice for her prom. Two days later, Lejan expressed her desire to donate this money to children suffering from cancer, and noted her belief that they need that money more than she needs it for a dress that she will wear only one night. Of course, her parents supported her, and they are very happy and proud to see the result of their long-lasting education and upbringing, and thus Lejan went to her prom in jeans and a T-shirt.”
