Great interest for the March of Peace 2015 showed

mars mira2There is a great interest showed by not only people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also the world public for the participation of individuals and groups in the “March of Peace 2015” from 8th to 10th of July this year, which is one of the activities of marking the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, as announced by the press-services of the event.

Chairman of the Subcommittee, Hamdija Fejzić, says that new registrations of participants arrive every day.

All who wish to apply can do so on the website: http://www.marsmira.org or come on 7th of July at a place where column will depart in Nezuk, municipality Sapna.

“Those who want to participate as individuals can register on 8th of July in Nezuk, before the departure of the column. It is possible to join the march in any of the three stages, but the participants who subsequently join are required to report to the duty guards or the organizers when arrive at the place of accommodation” said Fejzić.

Each of the three stages is between 25 and 30 kilometers long.

“March of Peace” is this year, apart from the burial of victims of genocide, one of the main activities of marking the anniversary of the genocide committed against Bosniaks in Srebrenica.

The column departs on Monday, 8th of July 2015, between 8:45 am and 9:00 am from Nezuk.

From there to Potočari participants will pass the following route: Bakrači – Glodi – Udrč – Cerska – Kaldrmica – Đugum – Mravinjci – Burnice – Kameničko Brdo – Ravni Buljim – Jaglići – Šušnjari – Budak – Potočari (Memorial Center).
