Participants of the International Conference of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Geodesy Students “Valja nama preko 2023” visited the construction site of the Pocitelj bridge on Friday.

During the visit to the construction site, students from Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek, Novi Sad, Novi Pazar, Sarajevo, and Mostar had the opportunity to learn about the current stages of work on this impressive bridge.

During the student’s visit, it is also possible to see what this structure looks like, which will soon be in operation.

The Pocitelj bridge is, along with the Prenj tunnel, the most complex facility on the entire Corridor Vc through Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

According to earlier plans, the Pocitelj bridge was supposed to be completed in March of last year. However, there were certain delays, so the process will continue for some time.

Due to everything, the public company Autoceste of the Federation of BiH (FBiH) initiated the procedure of collecting penalties from the contractor – the Chinese-Azerbaijani consortium Azvirt, Avaz reports.
