Hezbollah issued a Warning: Do not scan QR Codes from Leaflets dropped by Israelis

Hezbollah has warned the Lebanese public not to scan QR codes attached to leaflets that Israeli warplanes have dropped in various areas across Lebanon.

In a statement, Hezbollah’s media department said that the Israeli leaflets were dropped in the Beqaa Valley.

“Please do not open or share the QR codes, they should be discarded immediately as they are very dangerous. This code can extract all the information from your devices and poses a threat to your security. We urge everyone to be cautious,” Hezbollah announced.

At least 558 people have been killed, including 50 children and 95 women, and 1.835 injured in Israeli attacks on Lebanon since Monday morning, according to Lebanese Health Minister Firass Abiad.

“Most of the victims in the Israeli attacks since Monday morning are helpless civilians in their homes. This contradicts the enemy’s claims of targeting fighters,” the minister emphasized.

The international community has warned against attacking Lebanon, as it raises fears of a regional escalation of the conflict in Gaza, Klix.ba writes.
