12788093_1731952577041419_1761226684_nThe very first Presidency of BiH (1996-1998) was consisted of Alija Izetbegovic, Kresimir Zubak and Momcilo Krajisnik.

Shortly after completing his mandate in the Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik was arrested in 2000 and extradited to the Hague Tribunal. Final judgment in March 2009 found him responsible for the deportation and forcible transfer of the Bosniak and Croatian population in several municipalities in BiH in the period from April to December 1992. After serving two-thirds of 20 years sentence for war crimes, the Hague Tribunal granted him early release in 2013.

The first President of the FBiH and a former member of the Presidency Kresimir Zubak founded three parties. Zubak is not active in politics, and he is on the list of lawyers of the Federal Lawyer Association.

After Alija Izetbegovic retired from the duties in 2000, Halid Genjac came as a temporary replacement in the Presidency and he kept his place until March 2001. Genjac is now a delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly and highly positioned member of the SDA.

Ante Jelavic was elected in the Presidency of BiH in 1998 and he should stayed on the position until 2002. However, former High Representative in BiH, Wolfgang Petritsch, dismissed him in 2001. Jelavic escaped to Croatia from punishment for several crimes that he is charged by the Prosecution of BiH. Today he lives in Zagreb, where he continues to refuse to report to judicial authorities in BiH.

Zivko Radisic was a member of the Presidency together with Jelavic and Alija Izetbegovic, and he cooperated with alternative members Halid Genjac, Beriz Belkic and Jozo Krizanovic. Today he is a member of the Senate of Republika Srpska.

One of the most prominent BiH politicians and diplomats in the world, Haris Silajdzic, was part of the Presidency from 2006 to 2010, and he is now out of politics. Today he is giving lectures to students at local and foreign universities, he participated in numerous conferences, and he promoted a book of poetry “Sarjecja” last year.

Zeljko Komsic was in the Presidency for 8 years, between 2006 and 2014. Today, he is the President of the Democratic Front, the strongest opposition party at all levels of government, and he is currently a Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

A member of SNSD Nebojsa Radmanovic was a member of the Presidency at the same time as Komsic. Today, he is the Vice President of this party and a delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of BiH.
