High Representative Christian Schmidt once again emphasized that the actions and activities of the Republika Srpska authorities marking and celebrating “RS Day”, January 9, may have consequences.
The participation and presence of public officials in such celebrations represents an obvious disrespect for the Constitution of BiH, as well as an open disrespect for the powers and decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which are final and binding and must be respected by all, the OHR in BiH tweeted.
The High Representative will continue to work to protect the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH, it is stated.
