The Embassy of Hungary in Sarajevo and the Bela Vida Gallery are opening an exhibition on the Hungarian UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The World heritage convention adopted by UNESCO in 1972 seeks to identify and protect cultural and natural heritage around the World considered to be of outstanding value to humanity. State parties joining the convention undertake to safeguard and protect World heritage properties on their national territory for future generations. Hungary boasts with eight world heritage sites, bearing witness to the wealth of its cultural and natural treasures.
Ms. Anikó Gyenge, chargé d’affaires of the Hungarian Embassy, will open the Exhibition at the Importanne Center on 1st October 2014 at 19:00 o’clock. The opening is followed by Tokaj wine tasting.
