The Ipsos agency, based on a questionnaire designed by the International Republican Institute (IRI), conducted a survey in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on various economic and political issues.

Part of the survey on the popularity of political parties in the Federation of BiH (FBiH) was not published. It was presented only to political parties.

To the question “If elections were held this week, which party would you vote for?” – of the 355 respondents who said they would vote, 18 percent in the FBiH said for SDA, which is in first place.

Second place is shared by HDZ BiH and the Democratic Front with 8 percent of the votes each. For SDP, 7 percent of respondents would vote, and for NiP, 6 percent.

NES would be trusted by 5 percent of respondents, and Our Party by 4 percent.

For SBiH, 2 percent of respondents would vote as much as would be received by Snaga naroda and PDA. For HDZ 1990, 1 percent of respondents would vote, and for all other parties together, 2 percent.

2 percent of respondents would spoil the ballot, while 1 percent said they would not vote. Less than 1 percent said they would boycott the elections.

A total of 16 percent of survey participants said they “don’t know” who they would vote for, and 15 percent refused to declare themselves on that.

The data collection for this survey was carried out by the Ipsos agency based on a questionnaire designed by IRI. The data was collected between May 10th and July 7th, 2025, through face-to-face interviews in the homes of respondents.

The sample included 1.219 people in BiH. The sample was weighted by region, urbanity, age, gender, and ethnicity according to the 2013 census.

The sample was weighted for educational level using Ipsos estimates based on data from the 2013 census.
